Ginger In The Rye: I See You Stay Up Late At Night And Ponder Too

So a couple of posts ago I asked my beloved readers to tell me how they think I am doing. I even created an email address (gingerintheryeblog@gmail.com, e-mail me anytime, really, anytime) and for the first couple of weeks my responses were little, and by little, I mean none. I had honestly given up hope and decided to either delete my account or I would just write about what I have been up to lately, and you can only talk about yourself so much until it becomes mundane, annoying, or even boastful. But little to my knowledge the other day I signed into my e-mail address and the amount of e-mail's I received have been overwhelming and I can't wait to share and answer them with you.

My ultimate goal for many years from now is to create a strictly political blog or website depending on the trend of the world because:

1. I am in a love affair with my country, and have no problem admitting or expressing my patriotism.

2. You need to understand the world you live in, how it works, and know that if you don't like what you see you can change it.

3. What you do in life matters.

4. Politics can be cool.

5. Lastly, a government of the people, by the people, and for the people is only achievable when we take responsibility for our actions as a country. Hold ourselves accountable and be people that understand that you can do more for yourselves that the government can do for you.

But for right now I am just having fun with this whole blogging thing. It is pretty neat and I have enjoyed that people actually care, read, and respond. I am forever indebted to you. My total inspiration for even creating this blog comes for Meaghan McCain. Yes McCain, as in her father ran for POTUS in 2008.
