Ginger In The Rye: I Am So Sorry!

So it has been a while, I am so sorry! Somewhere in between mid terms, spring break, my new work schedule, then reverting back to my old work schedule, my dad having major surgery, starting night school and studying my ~~ass~~ butt off has left me with little time to blog, but I promise this will never happen again...I promise you.

Last blog I promised one about American Education. Don't worry! I am still writing it, I just need more time for me to make a clear message that also keeps the school, teachers, and students anonymous.

Also I put my readers up to the challenge. And surprisingly not one of you came through except my beloved soon to be married sister. And her challenge was a little too challenging. Oh well, no hard feelings. Lets move on!

So mid terms happened...and couldn't be happier they are over. Which only brings me to realize that finals are right around the corner. I have already started to stress out.

Spring Break was uneventfull. I worked 40+ hours while my friends were out in California and Mexico over the week. I did some spring cleaning. Played Dominos, you know the usual 19 year old kid stuff!

Also I started a new schedule at work. I started prep cooking on weekend mornings. So all of the delicious food you folks enjoyed, most likely I sliced, diced, washed, peeled, and prepared it! You're welcome. But then my boss decided that it would be better for me to remain on the night crew. Well that was fun while it lasted!

But I have really gotten to know and love most of my co-workers! We have been spending a lot of time together!

After work, my co-workers and I sometimes go to iHop! We usually enjoy each others company and talk a lot of smack!

We also have been hitting up the Arcade like no other lately!

In other news:

Papa Jeff had major surgery. It is so weird to see my Dad limping around and I hate that he is in pain. But he is well on his way to recovery. Go Dad! The grossest part of this whole recovery thing is he has to keep a drain ON HIS BODY! This is kinda gross, but it has to be done. It is in his stomach and the blood drain is held right in his pocket. Needless to say we haven't been out to eat in a while!

So at the begining of this semester I signed up for a tradition 16 week Spanish 102 Class and the teacher was a complete A-Hole(If I'm being polite!) So I ditched that class and signed up for a night class. It meets once a week from 5pm-9:45pm on Mondays. You may think that is a long time in one class, and you are correct. But I LOVE IT! The teacher is so nice! But it is a lot of work. A lot of homework is assigned on- line and I spend half of my life on my Laptop now, but so worth it! Good News I am already halfway done! But since it is night school and all I have to share a class room with pregnant ~~bitches~~ women, single moms, and crazies, but no judgements! Also since I still have regular classes I meet my buddies at the 24 hour Coffee ExChange for really late night study sessions! The Extreme Coffees keeps us going all night!

So at the moment I am just trying to keep my head above water, because I am drowning in a sea homework. All I am going to say is that one day I will look back and wonder where I got all of my energy from while sitting in my office with a big fat diploma hanging on the wall!!!

Also my sister is getting married in less than a month! What the heck! The planning has been going on for about 2 years now, and I am so excited to have a new brother! But the downside is that my sis will no longer be Stephanie Porter and that just freaks me out! Weird!

I have my dress, shoes, pearly white teeth, semi-tanned(OK who am I fooling, I paid $100 for a tanning bed membership and the only results I saw were the ones that I imagined in my head!) body, and empty wallet! Can't wait till the 28th!

So what does any soon to be bride and groom need.... A bachelor/bachelorette party! While the group went to Vegas this weekend I had to stay home and watch The Dutchman! My sis/bro's crazy dog and their house!
