Summer Part II

Last time we left off I was dog sitting two rambunctious Great Danes. Well,  a lot has happened. As many of you are aware my favorite cousin is prego! I love her and I will love her child but setting up for this baby shower is like dying a slow painful death by amputation...

From tying bows on the pardon gifts, to hanging oriental ornaments from the ceiling that won't stay up, I somehow have managed to find time to update this blog.

No amount of packing tape will hold these guys up.

Also, I had the privilege of house/dog sitting for my sis and her hubbs while they were in Mexico.

Took this sheep dog on a 3 mile walk.....was more hyper after.
Oh, and he ate 3 OF MY WORK SHIRTS!?!?!

Last week I had to be in Phoenix for a work seminar and my friends and I were tubing the salt river so we made a mini-vacation out of it!

The reunited gang at Dave & Busters.

Tubing the river may very well be one of our favorite things to do! We lost money, sunglasses, a few hats, and our dignity. No biggie! Still one of the greatest events of the Summer so far!

Our Check List:

-21ish tubes
-200 Jello Shots
-15 people
-7, 30 Packs
-5 coolers
-200 ft of rope (Left it in Tucson, had to make an emergency Wally World Run)
-Sanity(also left that is Tucson)

2K12--Last Summer!

2k13--This Summer! Missing a few!
 Gerhart, Ruben, and Kassidy
you were missed.

Jackie may still be stuck in high school. Note: Look at the hat!

When a fellow tuber runs out of brew!!
We are there to help!

We made a pit stop to stretch. Me,  Twerkin' on a tree!

Our day was filled with fun, laughter, and definitely sun, check out my legs!
For those of you that wanted to know...i'm still peeling!
Game. Over.

The next morning I was up a 5am, drove to China (North East Phoenix) and sat through a 6 hour seminar. Aside from sleeping through a majority of it,  I learned some valuable info and got a catered breakfast and lunch.

So official.

To backtrack a bit we had a phenomenal Memorial Day. Not only did we remember the "reason for the season" we mainly enjoy each others' company, the pool...and steak, yes, lots, of steak.

My sister can rock cowboy boots like no other girl I have ever seen.

Grill masters at work.

Twerkin' on a flag!

When Phoenix friends come down to visit!

But I've been back to work for a while now. This is the kind of stuff I have to put up with.

Happy Thursday! Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!
