Ginger In The Rye: Happy 18th Birthday, Grandma!?!

There are two things that my grandmother and Justin Bieber have in common. 1)They both turned 18 this year. 2)Their favorite color is purple!

That is right, it was my beloved Grandma Barb's 18th Birthday. If you just raised your eyebrow, and reread that last sentence, you have read it correctly! It was a leap year this year, rewarding her with a birthday only every 4 years, but in reality she is 72, but who is counting.

Because we are all so busy during the week I just gave her a quick call and said hello on the 29th, but the rest of the family went to the The OutBack Steak House this past Sunday.

After Dinner we went back to Grandma's house to watch her open her presents on her Super Sweet 18th Birthday, and for some ice cream.

Since her favorite color is purple my parents got her a really nice table cloth for her 9FT TABLE!
