I didn't go to the Rodeo, but...

For those of you that aren't native Tucsonan's or have never heard of the rodeo you are in for a treat. In Tucson, and Tucson only student are let out of school the 2nd to last Thursday and Friday of February to go to the rodeo. The only problem is that the Rodeo is such an old tradition NOBODY goes, unless you are performing in the parade and are new to town and have to check it out.

Well, since im still in Community College we also partake in the vacation. I however spent it with close friends and made some new ones along the way. Thursday-Sunday we spent at Shayna's hanging out and having a blast.

John and I have alway tried to convince our co-worker Stephanie to come play with us. She finally did and now we told her she can NEVER LEAVE. We adopted her.

John, Me, Steph, and Zach???

The best part of this Rodeo Vacation was getting snow on Wednesday. Yeah, you read that right! SNOW IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA!!! The city was beside themselves with the 1 1/2 inch that we received.  We went to the park and played for a while. Made some snow angels and decided to go inside after about 1 hour. We were thankful the snow melted in less than 24 hours and also glad we don't live were it snows all the time because snow, while it looks cool and is fun to play in.....when it is all said and done...it STINKS!

We are still having a blast at bowling league! I have been improving so much that I made the top stats page. Also, our team is number one in the league standings right now!  We are about half way through the season, and couldn't find a better way to spend Tuesday nights!

Tomorrow I am headed to Jobbing Com once again for another Coyotes Game! We are playing the Minnesota Wild and while I tired to pick out a 2nd hand jersey at a local sports shop the best I could do was find this vintage Team USA Jersey for $20! Super excited about it!

Don't think our seats will be this good, again. We shall see

Seriously though, only $20. Modern day Jerseys are easily $120- $180!

The only down side to this great rodeo vacation is the fact that I caught a cold...and a severe case of pink eye (don't ask).

Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!
