Someone Got A Makeover. P.S It Wasn't Me.

Hello again. Two blog postings in less than one week! Are you smiling yet?

Well if you haven't noticed Ginger in the Rye got a make over! How do you like it?

I started the make over at 11:30pm on July 9th and finished at 3:35am on July 10th.

This is what you call in some cases an "all nighter"!

I took a before and after photo of myself. Im exhausted. Game over.

Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!

July Already?

Last time I truly looked at a calendar was when I was back at school. That was in May. Looked at one today and to my dismay...it is already JULY! Where has the time gone!?! I am already having a busy month.

Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays, not because it celebrates the country that I love or because of great BBQ, but for my father. He loves fireworks. But sadly, my Dad had to work that day. I mean you can be correctional officer of the year without having to sacrifice a little bit!

While Dad was workin' I treated Mom to a much needed Independence Day massage and the new Starbucks Blonde Roast.

Later headed to my cousin's house for some drinks and Fireworks. I even got to hangout with my sister. This a rarity due to her busy schedule. Had to take a picture for evidence! Love ya Steph.

After Nicole's, I headed to another (much later) party.  Jackie's brother(Zach) and his friend Ruben made an appearance. I also took a picture to send to Jackie in Sacramento. She was very happy to see them, but I made sure to tell her that she was defiantly there in spirit! Only like 18 more days until she returns. I send her random stuff via text message but she reminds me that she is in the middle of nowhere which means text few and far between. Sad face. ):

Matt lighting off fireworks at Nicole's. A.K.A Daredevil!

In other news, my good friend Shayna has finished Vet Tech School and is doing her externship! Way to go Shayna! She has had a little break from school which means us hanging out = me happy! She dragged me, Zachy, and John to The Amazing Spiderman (which I did not want to see) but truly lived up to it's title! It was freaking AMAZING! P.S. I love Emma Stone!  Definitely a must see on the big screen...seriously!

I also took Zachy to see Ted because 1) I had free tickets. and 2) I heard it was hilarious! Which it was!
3) I have always and will forever be a Seth MacFarlane fan.

It was also a really good/funny movie. I mean it is about a talking bear and all. P.S I also love Mila Kunis so....

In other, other news. My cousins for Dallas are coming to see us for a whole month! Currently my uncle Aub is in Texas to hang for a while and then is flying them back with him. I discovered via Facbook that they went to Cowboys Stadium. Remember my aunt that passed from Cancer. She was a die hard Cowboys fan, I mean I wore an Aikman Jersey to her funeral and all. But Aub as well as my aunt Jen took some of her ashes and sprinkled them on the field. Check out this video.

Newport Beach, CA Blog 2-End of Trip

Last time I finished I was enjoying the sunset on the shore with my buddies in Newport.  In recollection, now I wish I was back on that same shore instead of being bothered by this God awful heat in Arizona.

To grasp the technicals of the best Vacation EVER, we all shared the space of a quiet little three bedroom beach house equipped with two bathrooms. However, the only flaw with our little cookie cutter beach house was that....it was slumbering 18 people....no joke. We were basically on top of each other at night, fighting for the bathroom during the day(especially after dinner) but in reflection, I wouldn't of had it any other way. The memories made will forever stay with me, for reals though!

On Tuesday we headed to Fashion Island.  Fashion Island was great. My friend Ashley had to talk me out of buying a Rolex... and a puppy, but it was a great place to feel rich and important for at least a couple of hours. In fact, all of us were 100% certain that we were going to see a Kardashinan. But just our luck they decided to stay at home on the day of our outing!

Wednesday was the greatest day in my opinion! Disney day! I love Disneyland! We all got a little more bonding time and got to experience the new Cars Land! It was one hell of a day. I will let the pictures do the story telling!

LOL

Zach the Magnificent!

$30 wings that Zachy wouldn't buy for Paige.

She was really upset, but Zachy still said no!

AMAZING! Just like the movie!

Thursday we slept in. I mean being at the park from open to close was a little much! But we had such a blast that I was worth every penny/hurting feet/ hungry stomach and complaint! Made a trip to the beach and enjoyed each others company.

Friday was bittersweet. The last night in the beach house, but also knowing that we were coming home helped end the sadness. We  I had my end of the trip celebratory/ mandatory cigar and everyone else had hookah and cocktails on the patio.

FOR THE RECORD: THE UofA WON THE COLLEGE WORLD SERIES!!!

Saturday we were up early. Cleaning the house and packing. I had to drop Jackie off at the airport in Ontario, CA. It was around an hour from the house. She will be in Sacramento for the next month. We have been hanging out a lot lately and It will definitely be a lonely month without her. But I still have my best buds in Tucson to help me from bordem.

See ya later Jacks. You should be expecting a care package full of goodies real soon!

Overall, California was just the vacation that I needed to help me from going crazy! Back to the real world. School starts soon and I couldn't be more ready! But to close one of my favorite vacations of all time, I will end with my favorite picture taken.
