Cheers To The Beers!

To begin, Happy(belated) Memorial Day Weekend! We all know what this day is for. Let us not forget why we have the day off from work! Have a safe day celebrating!

It has been a busy week! On Saturday,  I celebrated the marriage of Tommy Beers and Sarah Sparks! This was a great opportunity to create some instagram photos. I apologize about the extra activity on there yesterday guys! But I definitely got some great shots!

But before the wedding I hung out with my cousin in her new house and saw the beginning stages of her and Cody's(her boyfriend) chicken coup that she is installing in the back yard. Mainly... I played with Cooper, her adorable dog!

Chicken coup heaven!

Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Beers!

Congratulations! Have a safe honeymoon in the Bahamas! My sister and my brother-in-law are also on their honeymoon. The two are currently in Europe right now!

With them being gone...that means I'm on Dutch duty! I love this little(huge) guy!

More on my week with Dutch later!

Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!

Beautiful....

Is the word that could describe how my summer is going so far. I have spent time with some amazing people... that I love, which is always a bonus!  Just watched one of my best buddies (Zachy) graduate from High School, saw Claudia, my "Mexican 1/2 sister" get promoted from the 5th grade, played with baby Lily and I am having so much fun along the way... and it's not even June!

June will be a busy month, here's the agenda:

June 2-Bridal Shower
June 3- Tubing the Salt River
June 4-22 Playing Call of Duty
June 22-30-Newport Beach, CA---a.k.a Don't call me, because I'm at the beach!

But here is a look at my summer along with the people that are making it so enjoyable this far! Oh, and stay posted I have gotten some pretty interesting e-mails and can't wait to answer them!

Not A Bummer Summer So Far!

READERS! How are you!?!

I have some exciting news to tell you that dosen't include the start to my summer being a bummer. 1) Officially done with my first year of College! 2) I went and saw the Coyotes play the Kings in Glendale on Tuesday.

1) School is out for Summer!

We all know or remember or have sung that classic catchy popular at one time song! That's right I finished my first year of college and can't wait to get back in the classroom, but I think I will enjoy summer first! But you know what is more ironic about that song is that Alice Cooper sings it and IRONICALLY, Alice was at the Coyotes game last night!

2)Yotes VS. Kings.

Since I was little I have loved Hockey, well, really all sports. My dad was born around Chicago (Blackhawk Nation), my grandparents go back to Chicago every year, plus I spent a summer in Chicago a few years ago and fell in LOVE with the city. So naturally I like all Chicago teams(White Sox, Bulls, and of course The Blackhawks). If it is one thing to know about Chicago is they take their sports seriously! But the only problem with loving teams that are all the way clear across the country is that you can NEVER go to games, unless you have a boat load of money or when they play Arizona teams! With that, it has only been in the last couple of years that I have come to appreciate Arizona sports (D-backs, Suns, and of course The Coyotes, especially the Coyotes!) I have hit a couple of Ice Cats games downtown this year but have been dying to go to a Yotes game. I have been so busy lately I haven't found the time or energy to make the 2 1/2 hour drive and sit through a 3 hour game then drive 2 1/2 hours back home. But when the Coyotes beat the Blackhawks, and then the Predators I thought to myself...I have got to get in the Arena! And I did just that! I bought Tickets for myself and my dad! The coolest part of this whole experience is that although my dad loves Hockey too, he has never been to a pro-game!

When I was in High School I was involved in the DECA organization and we went to Coyotes games all the time but the fact that my dad has never been baffled me. So I decided to spoil him! First game and it's a Playoff game...rough life! We had such a great time. We left Tucson around 11:30ish and went straight to Glendale. Glendale is home to Jobing.Com arena where the Coyotes play and University of Phoenix Stadium where the Cardinals play. By Jobing.com is an area called WESTGATE and there are shops and bars, places to eat, so my dad and I grabbed a quick bite to eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and did some shopping! Fun Fact: My dad HATES shopping! But loved WESTGATE, and of course the Bars(Booze)!

Sorry about the tomato face it was 106 degrees out.
Also, I was in a long sleeve...mistake.

Shirt at Margaritavile. Made me chuckle.
The game was not only sold out...it was a WHITE OUT!

Dad in middle of Westgate.
Calico Jack's Cantina!

Had GREAT seats!

Warming up!

Arena filling up slowly.

I love Gilbert Brule! He's on the bottom screen!

Pre game show!

About 10 minutes later...

TOTAL WHITEOUT!!
The atmosphere was incredible! My dad had so much fun! Even though we lost 4-0, it was awesome! Everyone was in the playoff mood fans and players, shouting, and fighting. The Kings fans in Section 104 even got ejected!  But that didn't look as bad as when Shane Doan (Our Captain) got ejected for roughing. On the way home my dad must have said, "Thanks you so much for inviting me!" a least 100 times! You're welcome dad, thanks for everything you have done for me, you deserved it!

Well all I can say is The Coyotes need to start working together, putting more points on the board, meaning more shots on goal! Before we take the Cup we need the Kings to fall. Let's go YOTES!

Some day when I make the big move to Phoenix I WILL be a season ticket holder! Mark my words!

Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!
