"If You Aint Dutch, You Aint Much"

People that know me best can relate to this weeks blog title. I say it every so often! My grandfather in 100% dutch making my father a very dutch man[insert laugh here] who married my mom who is a little bit of everything! Therefore, I claim my dutch heritage most and so does my sister! With that story in mind, this is how my week has gone so far....

My sister and Brother-in-Law are in Europe, rewarding themselves with a much needed vacation or as they like to call it, their Honeymoon! With that being said, I am in charge of watching Dutch, or The Dutchman as I like to call him. He is a 1 1/2 year old rambunctious Labradoodle, or as my friends like to call him, The Ugliest Dog on the Planet, but I think he is a little cutie! Stephanie  takes so many pictures of him that he even knows how to pose for pictures! If you dont believe me take a look at these pictures! My documentation of my week with him! Dutch has been such a sweet and pleasant dog, and you can tell that he definitely wants to see his mom and dad! We have been on walks, taken baths, and I even took him to see Cooper my cousin's rambunctious dog!

During the week I got lunch with my grandmother. No caption needed for this next photo, except delicious!

Amongst other things this week, I got some pretty exciting news at work!

While watching lil' Dutch I had a planed trip to tube the salt river with my buddies so I had my parents watch him until I returned late Sunday night! They told me he was pretty good....well, I will let this next photo create your judgements!

While Mom and Dad were having "fun" with The Dutchman, I was on my way to the river.
Zach, John, and I arrived in PHX Saturday night and met up with Jackie. She was really excited to see us, can't you tell!?!

Sunday around 12:30pm we hit the river! Here were some pictures recovered from our 4 hour excursion! Photo Credit goes to Kassidy, who was the only one brave enough to have her iPhone out on the river! I salute you Ms. Skarison!!

*$15 for a tube + bus ride to the top!
*30 tubes
*7 coolers
*54 Sandwiches(some with mayo, ome with miracle whip, and some plain)--Thanks Kasey Bell!!
*And lastly, I applied sunscreen every 30 minutes, so needless to say I did NOT get burnt for once in my life!
*Oh, we also made T-Shirts(xGANx) for our East Side Crew a.k.a a bunch of white kids that have nothing better to do! Thanks for the shirts Valarie! The shirt were lime green, needless to say none of us got lost, except for Paige and Ashley!

Our xGANx Slogan!

Overall,we had so much fun that we might go again before the end of the summer!
Hope you had a great weekend!

Hope life is beautiful wherever you are!
